AIT Director Christensen joined Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je and several international representatives to help open Meet Taipei, a major event in Taiwan startup scene. “As both the United States and Taiwan face the new “normal” of dealing with a global economy impacted by COVID-19, novel approaches are required to overcome these unprecedented challenges. Taiwan’s start up ecosystem is positioning itself to meet the challenges that the new global economy faces to develop creative solutions. Events like Meet Taipei are excellent opportunities to reflect on these trends and to develop the relationships that will ultimately lead to new services and technologies,” Director Christensen said at the Opening Ceremony of Meet Taipei today.
